Thanks Maxx. The standard text is way more relaxing to read for some reason. With the bold I always feel like shouting back.

"Actually, I'm missing the last hour or so of the Grand Am Race from Miller Motorsports Park in Utah."

Don't worry Maxx. Ray will have the pictures on his website.

As far as I'm concerned if you get into and out of a car by going through a door it should be classified a door slammer. Jimmy I do see where there could be some confusion though... For instance drag racers that use the term "Pro Stock". None of these cars are anywhere near stock, and I'd like to see you try and buy a car off the showroom floor with a 800 cube engine. These cars are nothing more than a Funny Car with carburetors. I feel the same about lakesters with T bodies... Just not the same thing my Dad would have drove to school back in the day. Ditto with Nascar "Stock" cars... nothing on these cars are stock, and they don't even have opening doors.
I suppose everything evolves.
Thanks for turning off the bold print Maxx I thought you were mad at someone.

Smitty  cheers

Back to the Blowfish for a moment:

I was told the car and team were at the start line for a return run -- but they did not make that run, nor any other, before the event ended.  I didn't see the car on the salt, didn't see the car at the pit.  I don't know where it was -- and therefore didn't take any photos.  I don't have a historical archive of shots of the car -- so can't help there, either.

Okay -- back to doorslammers.  Later - -

Maxx,

Now that would be the ticket for a big guy like me... Take a Nascar Super Speedway car (prior to C.O.T.)  and some how cut a door and hinge pins in it.  I would try it ??

By the way  the T Bird is looking good.

And on top of all that, don't you think all Street Roadsters should have workable doors?
