Photos and Photobooks from BUB 09

I have posted the images from the BUB 09 event. 7 galleries. One for each day and galleries for the "Women of BUB", the party and volunteers. I have begun working on the BUB 09 yearbook, and remember, you can choose an images from any of the galleries and I will place it on the cover of your BUB yearbook and a portion of the proceeds from the book sales will be donated to Save the Salt.
A personal note. I shoot alot of biker events throughout the year but I don't enjoy any as much as I enjoy BUB. Great people, who never fail to support each other. That doesn't happen everywhere ... believe me.
My only regret is that, as I stand out around the tower for 12 hours a day, I don't get to visit much so next year I am going to spend my evenings in the bars ... don't mention this part to my wife.

Sorry, Bob -- I wasn't laughing it up as much as being surprised that the passenger stuck his legs out the rear that way.  I guess I had expected a crounch, not a belly-flop.  In retrospect -- I know the legs-behind would allow better aero -- but it's still a surprise, that's all.

But next question -- that front fender sure looks more like a hood scoop that an aero-omprover.  How about rotating it forward to get the front at the axle-line?

My wife, who is a horse person and has no use for motorcycles, at first glance thought this bike was built specially because the man was so "tall" !!! Once I explained the sidecar/monkey .... she asked "well how much fun can this be for the monkey?"
One would think after being married to me for 28 years ... well ... she still doesn't get it!

For the past 6 years we have run a full "dustbin" fairing on our sidecar......but the last couple of years there has been a increased wind problem on the salt.......(something to do with the climate changes? who knows) last year the wind had Larry C. and passenger Warren R. almost sideway in the timed mile due to this strong wind........so for this year we ran a top fairing only.......regarding the front fender.....yes, it could stand some work, but I build it this way to keep the salt spray off the turbo and carb. mounted in front of the engine........Yes, we run the "old" carburator draw thru system, no computor on this outfit....
remember it allowed Charlie Toy to go 230mph many moons ago....we have been at 187mph with a carb. and a passenger. It is extremly difficult to teach this "old dog" new tricks.  As to the passenger not having "much fun"......possible this is correct in LSR, but remember we come out of roadracing where the passenger has a "lot of fun".........If you race a sidecar it requires a passenger.....otherwise it is a solo-bike with a "wheel on a steeeeeeeck "..............Great pictures Scooter.............................................

You could have gone faster if that monkey wasn't dragging his feet on the salt... Plus, he needs more aerodynamic shoes.
