Here are some photos from the USFRA annual awards banquet - that was held at the Rainbow in Wendover on the 5th of December 2009.  I didn't have paper and pen available to keep good notes -- so if I've got a name wrong -- or no name at all -- go ahead and tell us all who's who.  There's a full report on the banquet on the home page of the site -- but the formatting is clunky -- I'll try to fix it in the morning.  In the meantime. . .

Salt report coming soon.  We took some photos at Land's End -- and I'll get them posted in the next half-hour or so.  No snow - no visible water - no fresh tracks - no Sheriff's deputies.

It took a while -- we're on I-80 and the signal to the computer's aircard is weak - so I hope the photos get through without further hassle.  These were taken at Land's End (as if you couldn't figure it out).  We did not venture out onto the Salt -- seeing as how we're in a rental car and don't want to get charged a zillion bucks for off-roading.









Okay -- now for the two that'll make you jealous.  Guess where we ate breakfast?

Sparky, I remember the first time Nancy and I went to the Salt Flats cafe with you and Russ -- and you ordered a large apple juice.  I didn't know what the heck was the story -- but got a good laugh when you were served.  Thanks for the memories.
