We're already there, well the crates are, they arrived on Friday and the crew flys in on Tuesday.

Hey Gwillard

If you can't find anyone to park next to in the pits you come park next to us, they think we're insane also.  :-D

I head out today.  Saw the Healeys at Miller Motorsports Park yesterday.  Looking good!  See you on the salt!

Wes,
Has anyone gone out to the salt to see conditions? Weather forecast looks grim over the next few days.

Pork Pie and I spent the day at Miller's in Tooele and the weather turned pretty awful in the afternoon.  Pockets of thunderstorms between Tooele and SLC with localized heavy rain and lightning.

Pork is going to head out for the salt tomorrow and I'll be there on Tuesday.  I hope we can race cars and bikes and not boats and canoes.

Thanks Ray, hope to see you wed.

Is the grandam at Miller next weekend?  Possible alternative?

Keeping my fingers crossed that all the weather stays away from Wendover for a couple more weeks at least.
I probably won't be leaving home until late Tuesday or very early Wednesday due to some schedule conflicts.

We're back in the West Wendover apartment, and will head out to the Salt tomorrow and give you some on-the-spot reports.  We drove through a bit of rain coming down from Twin Falls to Wells, and list mist about 20 miles west of Wendover -- but nice enough here in town.  The forecast is still kinda funky -- but we'll take a look in person tomorrow and let you know.

Goodnight -- back in our own bed (well, our rented apartment own bed) finally.

The current storm total radar plot (05:35 MDT through 11:06 PM MDT Sept 13,2009) shows only trace of rain in the immediate area, with a small zone that received about 0.5 inch of rainfall, south east of Wendover.
