I see there are 17 pending records. Does this mean that paperwork is waiting to be official or did the entrants not get measured for the records.

Or I guess how many of the pending records did not get measured? Or were they able to measure them all at the salt in the water???

All records will be certified by the end of next week. I will verify them and send to J.D.Tone to make the certs. Dan Warner and Ed Saferc will also verify them.

I belive all the Motorcycles that set records were measured and sealed
the day they set the record and the certs were filled out.

On 9-27-08 we lost a great friend and fellow racer, he was the BEST, he helped anyone with anything at anytime.  His name is Dave Owen and he will be missed by all that knew him and I am glad to have met him.

Seeing him at Bonneville during 2008 Speedweek was the tops, Dave was in awe of the salt and as usual was there helping out anyone who asked..simply put we lost a great man who will be missed by all.
