First off the weight would stay inside between the rim and cover because of centrifugal force. I have my own tire machine and balancer so I can play around with moving the tire around the wheel and most times I don't need to add weights. If the wheel takes more than one ounce I take it apart and figure out why.

How old would you be now if you didn't know how old you are?
If you can't race it or take it to bed - it ain't worth having.
