It looks like his beach racing frame, not the Bonneville set up? Transmission has 32 T instead of 34 T when he set record

The iron one has got it sorta, this is his "test" frame that stayed in kiwi land. But it has the Bonneville speed run motor installed. As most every one knows Burt carried the motor back and forth not the entire bike. So where was the bike found...a easy one for Indian dudes.

A little known fact, demonstrated in this picture, was that his early attempts at aero drag reduction included running the drive chain over top of the seat and tank where it would be shielded from the wind by the riders body. It was quickly realized, after just one test run, that the dangers to one's future reproductive capabilities were too great and the idea was abandoned.

I have made it an obsession about Burt and Indian motorcycles as I am attempting an Indian streamliner myself. I can tell by how big the sprocket is in relation to rest of transmission of what set up he has in the PIC. He actually useda 38 tooth once.
