On the webpage it says 1.5 miles?  Are the results listed for that distance or for the standing mile?

I worked mid-track as a volunteer track steward;  great spot to see these guys (& gals!) scream by.  My ole truck (the '56) did amazingly reliable duty on track sweeps, plus the 900-ish miles round trip.

These are all approx. times, as I was keeping a sharp eye out for moose (!) and not writing speeds down.

-I think the black '67 Mustang fastback with the pinto motor did 120ish
-The Gustafson Vette ran a couple mph faster every run...  topped out at 191mph I think.
-The Ranchero did 114, then 116, then 120, and iirc, it mighta done a few above that.
-The black 07 Vette from Wareham, MA did 185 ish on motor, then popped the intake trying for more with spray...  I'm from that area, so it was a neat way to meet my neighbors as it coasted over to me...  hope the motor wasn't hurt too bad.
-Blown Flattie black coupe ('33?) ran 130's, had some issues, and came back to run 145.  Sounded KILLER.

Tons more, got some great pics too...  I'll put 'em up on Bangshift.com as soon as I can.

Anyone know any particulars about the powerplant or get any pics of the Mustang?

Has been to the 150's with V-8 power.

Ran World of Speed one year, driving it to and from.

Has run it at 17 or 18 LSR events driving it to and from, only going back on the hook once.

Was planing on heading back to Ohio by way of the Allagash.
