Entry list shows Les Davenport and Valerie Thompson both driving.

Also Green Envy the new replacement for the Killajoule electric sidecar has gained another  " wheel " for the FIA event

Are you sure about that extra wheel for the event?  I know Eva and Bill had fitted a fourth wheel for extra stability driving around the parking lot.  I could have missed mention of said wheel in Eva's updates, I suppose.

According to the builder, 'Green Envy' is an electric sidecar outfit.

The organisers (DLRA) do state that the follow on event to their speed week is for both FIA and FIM World records (and the FIM does list the event on their webpage but there are few details No. 197/01 - but that is not unusual).

Adding just a fourth outrigged rear wheel does not convert a motorcycle with sidecar into a 'car' (in Europe an Automobile). The definition of an "automobile" is strictly defined by the FIA. Much more work would have been needed to the planned vehicle to ensure that is steered by two wheels and powered through two wheels.

I talked with Marlo a couple days ago. He said he would have had to have a 5 year lease on his 11000 sq. ft at the airport so he moved home to his purpose built shop with 4000 sq. ft.  He bought 2 storage containers and is convinced he can make it work. I've been to to his home shop and it is really nice but a real downsize for him. Like he said he has no crystal ball so everything is up in the air.

He brought up something I had never heard of and that is Newfoundland Basin near Bonneville. He said it is a place that they pumped a lot of salt water from flooding of The Great Salt Lake.  It is fairly unreachable by land but he said even with going by helicopter it is cheaper then Australia. I think it would have to be an FIA event, possibly funded by him and Poteet. That didn't come from him, just my idea of how both teams could take advantage of a better stretch of salt. 6 miles would benefit both of there goals of reaching 500MPH. Anyone else heard of this site?????
