Time is slipping away but one container is loaded and

waiting outside to be delivered to the dock.

The other one will be loaded by Saturday afternoon.

Freud, I've loaded a few trucks, and I think I see something kinda funky about the way that the forklift is gonna have to trundle down the road following the flatbed.  Is the forklift DOT-approved?

We got it cheap. The truck and forklift are hitching a ride with the 'liner.

Please tell us that you're going to video this unique combo as it moves.  I wanna see the driver's reaction as he's lofted into the air when he hits the first good bump in the road.

Yep. It's ready to roll.

Lot'a work between, "Ya, we're goin' and it's ready."

I only did the fotos. No heavy lifting.

On the dock in Tacoma, WA. Monday.

The second container slides out of

the hanger Sunday morning.

Going to B'ville is a piece of cake.

I remember that experience. Shippers were not allowed to drive trucks and unload containers on the Lake Gairdner salt bed. Something to do with Aboriginal sacred grounds, I think. So, we had to unload on dirt a few hundred yards from the salt bed, then push our car to the pits. As my car was small and had very little equipment in tow, we ended up being the first American team to put a tire on Lake Gairdner. But my suspicion was that Al Teague, Chuck Salmen, George Fields and Ken Walkey had a harder time getting car and equipment to the pits.

I have no idea of survival at the lake bed.

Marlo and Korey have handled that and I haven't

even asked. Bringing up sleeping arrangements

when they were working 14 hour days was bad

planning.

As soon as that is mentioned I will give a better

answer.

The second container should be on the road. He

will either call me or send an e-mail soon.

Thanks for your interest and concern.
