Doc,

I wish you guys the best in Australia. I hope Les goes near 450 MPH.

The best to Marlo, Les, Ryan, Korey, Dickie, Randy, Nelie, and yourself.

With the final scheduled event for Bonneville canceled

our need still exists. Can You imagine a test session

without clocks or audience.  If the salt was to dry enough

a special track may be in the cards. Even though it is a

reach Treit would have a track prepared for the runs

necessary to test the chutes. Runs have been done as

late as November.  We can hope for such a possibility.

Just received a letter that may include the

possibility of a course yet this year.

The salt seems to be drying rapidly.

Anything comes of it I'll let you know.

   Water on the race course...

Apparently there was .02" of rain on Sunday.

Been standing water for 2 days now.  We can keep watching and hoping, but sure doesn't appear it will dry out in near future.

There were 3 airplanes wasted.

There was NO damage to Marlo's

hanger and all's well.

Thanks for your interest.

Interuptions do come in the preparation schedule.

The Target 550 'liner will be at The World of Speed

Museum in Wilsonville, Oregon on November 18th.

Its an opportunity for the tour guides and museum

workers to learn more about the car. Then when it's

on display they will be better qualified to answer the

visitors questions. A month later, December 18th, it

will be on the dock for it's trans Pacific trip to Australia.

I'll document the time between now and then.

Well the money recently spent is sending crew chief,

Korey Bligh, to Australia on a fact finding trip. He

leaves Nov 4th and I'm certain that his days and nights

will be full while he is gone. This makes it feel like

the mission is getting closer and closer.

Maybe we will even get e-mail from Korey and if so

I'll pass it along.  Hello Australia and Lake Gairdner.

Korey Bligh is soon to take a flight to Australia to

get acquainted with the folks and the terrain. This

is the foto for the History page in Target550.com.

We are really excited about this trip.
