I just talked to Marlo Treit about the streamliner.

Hume has sanitized the body panels since the B'ville pop.

They aren't to museum quality but they don't need to be to run.

The car is back in Treit's shop. The drive units are back in place

after Korey Bligh inspected them. The 4 runs only polished the

gear faces. One thing that has been accomplished is containers

have been built to add add weight to the front end of the car. The

mounting brackets have been built but have not as yet been welded

in place. Soon to happen.  The black wrap material has been removed.

It will be re-skinned yet this month, sans advertising. The re-skin has been

scheduled with the company and the panels are on horses to make it all

downhand to skin it. The tail section will not be removed. The vinyl shapes

have all been established from the two prior coverings.

As long as the car is not running there are always things that can be done.

That's the situation with the Treit and Davenport 'liner.

Thanks for your interest.

Marlo Treit and Korey Bligh are just waiting for a new body wrap.

The panels are all prepped for a soon to be applied new color wrap.

I'll post some images of the wrap. It was done Tuesday. 9AM to 5 PM and all done.

No graphics yet. They will be done at the opening of the World of Speed Museum.

The panels have not been put on the car. I can show the tail and the nose.

There's still work being done on the car and it wouldn't make sense to replace the skin.

The color is black, as earlier.

I'll post some yet tonight.

Thanks for your interest.

All of the body damage from the incident at the USFRA Test and Tune has been made

fresh. So with straight panels that fit the chassis it was possible to accept the invitation

from the World of Speed Museum in Wilsonville, Oar E Gun to display the car at the Grand

Opening April 24 and 25.  So Canby Signs and Graphics, Canby, Oar E gun,

(www.canbygraphics.com) came back to wrap the car for the third time. Arrived on time

and were done by the normal quitting time. As part of the opening of the museum the

graphics will be put on the car in it's display area at the museum on the first day.

  Thanks, Doc:

Just fabulous, as always with those crews.

Meaning Marlo's and Canby's.

Stay safe!
