Even if we lack action fotos there will be a lot of coverage during this restoration period.

Bill, that is a great concept.

I'll drink to that.

Now all that is needed is to get it ready.

That has already started.

Freud-

Did the streamliner make it to SEMA?  I'm not there but wanted to point a few industry people to view it who are there currently with big vendor booths at the show.

Also any luck in the downtime to get the earlier build process (frame, etc) documented and pictures scanned?  Unfortunately the website story start late in the build process and there is a lot more to the story than posted currently!

When Marlo started on that car there was no internet.  I don't think Freud had invented the camera at that time either.............

The car is at Jim Humes place. He is redoing the panels that were damaged.

We would love to have been on display at SEMA but it's not in the cards this year.

There will be more to show and do this time next year.

Les has designed a fix for the blowers. Now we will have to see how it handles

the problem. Dyno time during the winter.

Thanks for the interest.

We did have a nice day, Freud.  Everyone ate good, cleaned up the kitchen, and went to sleep.  Gobbling down turkey does that.

I had a short conversation today with "one of the team wrenches".  I heard that the body panels are done and that the liner is back home this Tuesday?  That experimentation is being conducted with a Whipple on a Harley (?) motor with the same failure?

Paging Doctor Freud!

Any OFFICIAL news for the great unwashed crowd?

Thank you, sir!

Now that I have recovered from Doris washing my mouth with soap I will open it and convert

fantasy to reality. Hume had the car just about done by New Years. Marlo had a bug that kept

him near the  commode so early one morning Korey, Dickie and Glenn the next door neighbor

hooked up the trailer and at Oh Dark Thirty headed to Hume's.  16 hours and 600 miles later

the projectile was back in it's stall. Both drive units were removed and inspected while the car

was at Humes. Since returning the drive units have been reinstalled.

Marlo also told me that there will be some mods made on the carrier following the things that

they learned at WOS. The plan was to just keep the carrier attached to the truck and pull it to

the far end. this didn't work nearly as well as was hoped. Had to go too slow. So the new

procedure is to leave the carrier in the trailer, move truck and trailer to the big end. The carrier

will be in position to turn the car around when it's record return time. Those discoveries are what

made those two events and the four runs so important. The heads are off of the engines. Nothing

serious with them. I have no idea what progress has been made on the blowers. I was told that

Les Davenport has devised a plan to guarantee reliability with the Whipples.  As soon as it warms up

enough to communicate with Les I'll give you his answers.

Thanks for your interest.
