Just a little teaser:  You probably won't be seeing the blue car for the foreseaable future.  We may decide to show/run the other car.  LOL!

Ray,

Does this post have anything to do with the color of the car?

Castrol is spending its once-reserved-for John Force budget on dozens of new racing ventures (just ask Marlo Treit and Les Davenport at Project 550), Best of luck to all in 2014!

Yes, that's part of it.  We're now dealing with a black car.

This is where I've been (as have Marlo, Korey and Dickey and the liner) this past week.

and...

Just to clarify, the Castrol on the side has nothing to do with John Force's leftovers, as the primary entity behind the color, graphics and photo shoot (WAY over-the-top) is Triumph USA.

I'm puttin a Target 550 post together, but I'm also tryin to resuscitate a laptop at the same time.  So  have patience and we'll have more photos of "the black car."

To me, as as "outsider", there's no clue what relationship Triumph U.S.A. has with the 'liner. :? (Perhaps: they would sponsor any LSR effort by anyone who campaigned a twin-Triumph back in the fifties?)

That's a great looking car; it resembles the JCB streamliner in many ways. One thing-- to me, the windshield angle seems to an abrupt change from the horizontal body. Would a fairing help direct the airflow over the surface?

Nice photos, Ray.

Should be a crime to cover that amazing aluminum body with vinyl. Looks great.
