A new post on Target550.com

A birds eye view of the injector bodies that Les Davenport built.

Here is the url:  http://www.target550.com/gallery/220_injector_bodies/index.html

Also get a little of the basis of this team in a short summary.

Ooooh. Deja vu. Exactly three years ago the injectors were featured.

Well, it used to be Los Angeles . . . 50 miles north of Fresno now.
Just remember . . . It isn't life or death.
It's bigger than life or death! It's RACING.

Doc:

Reminds me of a poster I had in the later 60's early 70's with two buzzards on a tree limb, one buzzard says, "patience my a$$ I am going to go kill something!"

It is with much humility and appreciation that I can tell you the Treit and Davenport streamliner

has been invited to The Grand National Roadster Show, Pomona, CA for the celebration of 100

years of Bonneville speed! That event is January 24-26, 2014

Complete Info at www.BonnevilleCenturyofSpeed.com

We hope to see you there. We are honored.

I will post more soon.

Marlo Treit restored Gil Ruiz's #471 roadster. Gil's health is not good and this was Marlo's

way of giving him a lift. Tony, Gil's brother, brought him over from Santa Barbara. Gil

had no idea why he was going to the lakes meet but he soon found out.

There was a lot of emotion to that Saturday.  I did my best to convey that in this post.

Check it here:   http://www.target550.com/gallery/221_two_men/index.html

We will see you at the GNRS in January. The Treit & Davenport 'liner will be displayed.

My GOOD Dr. F---I am so sorry that I was so preoccupied with getting Ms Liberty down the track for the first time that I didn't get by to give you a RAFT of "----" hug your neck and witness a great testimonial of friendship.  Here's to you and Marlo
