Your name was all over those and as soon as I saw your name connected with lsr I knew right away who it was. I've enjoyed and admired your work for a long time. Keep it up!

Have you folks seen the super slo-mo of the Moto-gp guys?

They get over 63* from vertical, and the tire takes a weird shape due to distortion.

Then they drift, and rub their elbows,; which have titanium pads built in.

Occasionally, the front end takes a strange grab, and spits the rider about 20' in the air, and he comes down hard.

Talk about having hospital written all over it.

Regards,
Jim

Jon.....I really don't think a 3" is available but I will ask.

This was the solution for the way this car was built.

If we actually have the weather reprieve that is expected the Treit and Davenport Target 550 'liner will be

   at the Shoot Out.

Testing of various systems and seat time will be available at this meet and there is no where else that

   we can accomplish this.

We hope to see you there.

It's Thursday afternoon, Sept 12, 2013. As yet we haven't been notified that the Shoot Out is

completely guaranteed.  We are still ready and patience will guide our decision.  In the meantime

Ray has posted on Target 550 the images that I sent him this morning. So here is the most recent

post on the Target 550 website.

Other people may have towed farther than we need to but only time will tell if we go. As soon as Marlo Treit

gives me his decision I will post it here and Ray will put it on www.target550.com

The url:   http://target550.com/gallery/219_ready_to_start_%20cooking/index.html

See the new color on the car.

Freud, do you have any construction shots of the fire extinguisher ports? We have discussed that idea here and in the chat in the past.

I'll have to go deep into the diary to find them.

I do have them

Give me some time, please.
