Instead of towing across the country to run at the Ohio Mile have you considered contacting one of the many under utilized Air Force bases on the West Coast to see if you could run on one of their strips for a few days. There are several that are over 15,000 feet long and hardly used any more.

Thanks Rex. When I get home we will have a conference and

see if we can find a place on the west Coast.

There is so much involved with a tow to Ohio.

I'm recovering from overfilling my tank at Kimo's in Lahaina.

We have been going there for over 30 years and every time is so satisfying.

Too bad that there isn't a Kimo's in Wendover.

Jealousy was the first word that popped in my head.

You two look spectacularly happy.

Kimo's on First St.! Lahaina is a great town.

A couple of blocks down is a banyan tree that covers two acres.

Yep, jealousy is still the word. Have a great trip.
Well, it used to be Los Angeles . . . 50 miles north of Fresno now.
Just remember . . . It isn't life or death.
It's bigger than life or death! It's RACING.

Hi Freud

Will have to ask about Kimo's as my 2 cousins have a real estate office there, that my Aunt & Uncle started in the early 70's

R.I.P.  Jack & Jonnie

What i really liked about the eating places over there is the open air deal , with all the windows open that is so different from here on the mainland

Freud, It's great to see you two are staying dry while we are getting soaked in the Pacific Wonderland.

It looks like they got sand all over your glasses of skimmed milk, I would order more just to see if it was accidental or intentional.

They told us that they do that so the birds won't land on them.

It was a cool 75. The breeze was refreshing (?)

Sunday is a full sun day and it's beach time.

We even had breakfast in the open air.

Thanks for the comments.

Wayno, dragon flies are in trouble over here. The humidity collects

on their wings and they can't take off to fly.

I know it's a long drive but I and so many others would be so happy to see this piece of artwork at the Ohio Mile, please consider making the trek.

Cheers for great documentation.
