Thank-you Freud, I love your photos and the attention to detail, the polished tanks and firewall get me thinking! What's that bracket for?, why does that driveshaft have a bend in it? :-P  What's the other side of that bolt...... The tank hold down bracket / firewall detail for example, precision and beauty!

Your photos bring this awesome build to life!

Cheers!

Thanks Freud,

Please keep us posted on when and where Marlo will test. I would love to be there if that would be OK.

As long as his trailer is, You will see him coming. I have never spoken to Marlo regarding his intentions while testing.

I will one of these times. there is still plenty of time until it happens.

Who knows, at the last minute we may have to hire you and your truck to get over the hills.

Like my Mom always said, " We'll see when the time comes."

Mom told me to say that.

Treit and I just had to get a booster shot for our Salt Fever.

We came to Wendover. We took the gamblers flight, this whole thing is a gamble isn't it, and here we are.

Now the most obvious questions.

How'a the salt?  It looks great from lands end. There is no water on it. A car came back to the road from out on the salt and his

wheel wells were dry and no build up.

The pot holes were quite well filled in.

The truck stop food was just the same and we have been there twice.

I'll attach some fotos and do more later.

When we are tourists we do as tourists.

T-man, you are easily entertained.

If I was doing a comedy routine I'd want you in the front of the audience.

There will still be a post on Target550.com yet today but it may be late.

Too much travel this week and everyone knows night comes too soon in Wendover.

before I ask my question I wanted to thank everyone involved for sharing the build and progress with us. I have been following the build since 2008 if I remember correctly and I think a masterpiece is the best way to describe it. My question may have an obvious answer but I am trying to think back to photos in the past. In that last picture posted here it appears that the oil pump is a 3 stage and scavenge only. If I am correct what is being used for a pressure pump? Like I said I am sure I saw the answer some time ago in a previous post but I cant remember. Thanks again!!!

Look at Thumbnail 174_012 in the post and that will give you the answer you are looking for.
