"Got'Cha" was first run in 1974. Bill Temple entered both 2 clubs in 1976 with records in AA/BGR. At El Mirage 201.79 and Bonneville at 220.
In 1977 Greg Temple started driving "Got'Cha" and entered the El Mirage Dirty 2 club in 1979 @ 201.97. Greg went on to set two records at Bonneville, one in 1981 at 241.848, then in 1991 he set another record at 262.230
Bill and Greg were the first father and son to enter the El Mirage Dirty 2 club. They broke the D/BFR at Bonneville in 1981 @ 241 with top speed of 249. This record still stands today. In 1991 they set the A/BFR @ 262 which was later broke by Duane McKinney.

Next time you are at the shop ask Jim what grade of plywood does he use for his bucks? It looks like marine grade, but it sure makes very clean bucks. Just wondering as some day I hope to be doing a buck for what ever I build and I am impressed with the quality of Jim's bucks.

What would happen to the nose of the 'liner if we hit it with a full bottle of wine?
We plan to christen it with an incandescent light bulb because we aren't supposed to use them anymore.
That would be our guiding light.
Send the wine to me. I'll make certain it is used for medicinal purposes.

Since I will be on the road to Gas Up Friday and Ray Therat will be shooting road racers this weekend our post for this week will be done early Friday AM. I won't access have to the url but just go to www.target550.com for the post regarding the enclosures for the tires and wheels. They were spun from 18 gauge stainless and it even required a special annealing step to allow the outside edges to be formed. Next week there will be more to show about the rear wheel fairings and the plumbing for the clutch slave cyls.
