Here is the reply from Treit when I mentioned the filters.

The screens are available in a number of sizes.  I use the finest one they sell and don't remember what the grid is right now, but will look at the box and tell you. On the suction side of the dry sump pump I use Moroso filters as they are the easiest to plumb in the lines, but they don't have them up there yet as I have not supplied them with the pans I am going to use.  All of this plumbing was going to happen in Aurora, not Sedro Woolley, so I am a little behind at getting them stuff.

The plumbing for the air supply lines and the fire bottles is almost complete.

With this winding down Jason is now finishing panels again. Then all of these small lines will be out of sight.

So go to this url and see the latest post.

In keeping with our two posts per week until the end of 2010 there is another post now.

The plumbing from the oil supply to the pump, to the filter and back to the pump is followed.

Most of the stainless air lines are done and Jason is back on panel finishing.

The image isn't related to the oil system but it does include transmission shifting air lines.

Dr. F,

PLEASE don't show closeups of those gorgeous welds those chaps are doing.

Makes me wanna throw all my equipment away.

Next time you see Jeffers ask him about the fireproof hood he used when he drove for Spider and Joe in the day.

(Totally aside, but you know they finally found the killer of Malcom X. . . it was Mother F!).

I.B.            I saw Dave today and will see him again at Treit's place Saturday.

I'll be quizzing him about the fireproof hood from the past.

Hang on to yer dentures, Interested.  (Not like I did and lost 'em on a race track.)  The fun is just beginning.  I can hardly wait for February when I'll get a chance to spend some time in peaceful contemplation of the liner (and my camera.)

Ray, start searching for an umbrella for The Rat.

Here comes February ( and B'ville NW Reunion)........after Christmas and Valentines Day.

When, exactly, you want to know, is the N W Reunion?  It's showing on the countdown timer on the home page of this website.

Speaking of the timer -- come summertime I'll have the choice of letting it go as usual, showing the time 'til Speedweek, to help youse guys get all ready for the event -- or I can have it count down to the mid-July Loring event.  I'd like to do the latter -- Loring -- but don't want a bushel basket of grouchy racers yelling at me for not giving Speedweek the full recognition.  I'll do one or the other -- let me know directly (not on this Treit thread, please) your choice.

Until the end of 2010 we plan to post twice a week.

Since I haven't supplied the images to Ray Therat, web elf as yet, it won't happen tonight.

We will post Saturday December 18.

That's the url for todays post on Target550.com

Ray had a question regarding the "repaired block" in one of the pictures.  NO, it will not be used in the car. It's just a stand in

for the finished ones that are in Treit's shop. It's also a little difficult to see the fitting on the block in that picture.

The Playboy Bunny image on the block of wood was a test run for a branding iron that Hume was commissioned to

build for Hugh Hefner.  The brand was never seen on any of the center fold herd.

Doc,

Thanks for going to the extra effort to post twice weekly. I know I appreciate your effort and time spent. After the first of the year I am going to have withdraws, when you go back to posting once a week.

Thanks again,

Tom G.
