I'm not exactly sure how to phrase this, but I'm gonna give it a shot.  I've assumed the position (not the one ya get into just before they slap the cuffs on ya) of web elf for http://www.target550.com/index.html.

I wanna thank Jon Amo for the great start he did on that site and mention that my assumption of said position has no negative implications toward him nor the job he did.

The "Photo Gallery Restructured" is where I started and I just rolled out a somewhat comprehensive revision of the html code.  Most of the stuff I did is inside and isn't really apparent to the site visitor..but in this case I mainly worked on browser compatibility.  The next part to get a facelift will be the Crew section.

Freud's sending me his photos after he's added line copy (or captions) to them which is a really kool way to handle the tedious job of adding descriptive text to the images and beats the h*ll outta modifying every single html page when an update is added.

Freud mentioned getting a new influx of food stamps so that he might feed those who are hungry for updates on a very kool liner.  Well, I guess I'm the food stamp guy as well as web elf.

We'll try for weekly updates, but the holiday season may get in the way, although work is continuing on the car.

I feel very flattered and honored to be asked to join this team in the elf slot.  I'd like to thank Freud and Marlo for this opportunity to contribute in an area where I have some ability.

Since I was already in the folder I decided to add a sneak peek of one part that really impressed me...
This is one of the inner wheel pants... spun stainless steel.. they are really cool

I sure hope Freud will get a chance to tell the story of the wheel enclosures.  It's a very kool story, just one of many associated with this liner...it's a masterpiece.  The photo shows one of the enclosures after a bit of heat has been judiciously applied.

I love the USA. How much longer will we be a free nation?

Asking questions is one's only way of getting answers.

I made a few internal changes to the Gallery page.  I've tested it with Firefox, Opera and Internet Explorer and it seems to be ok.

Could I ask a few folks to check this page out?

Please let me know if there are any problems viewing it and if so, what browser you're using.

Thanks,

Sorry, but my brain's at work on another web site I run (right now dealing with Nike-Hercules missile systems) and I'm kinda dense.  I don't understand Cobo.
