Great job on the Target 550 web site Ray!! I spent a couple of hours going thru the pictures that Freud has taken of this magnificent engineering and fabrication effort and remain completely amazed at the staggering attention to detail and the absolutely unbelievable level of fabrication skill. As I have said before about this project, it sets the "Gold Standard" for the way that a car should be built. I am staggered at even the thought of the effort to disassemble this car, when completed, to coat, paint and plate the various parts and then to reassemble them into a LSR car. Awesome is a word that is over used today but it is the only word that I can think of that describes this effort.

I have neglected posting on Landracing since we have had Target550.com up and running. It takes me quite a bit of time to do each post and

when I get it done I don't really feel that I have "other" views to post. I'll go back and pick up some of the images that I have not used and

continue my dedication to Landracing.com. Right now  I also have the Bonneville NW Reunion to deal with. I will post on that yet today. I am

waiting for the connection for the rooms to be posted in the corporate file so that a call to either the Portland Shilo property or the toll free

number can have the same results.

There is one excellent happening for 2010. No costs have gone up. Same room rates and same banquet rates as 2009.

Ray,

It's Sunday night got anything new for us from Target 550?

FREUD

I sure did, I look every Sunday. But I wanted Ray to announce it this week, seems I have been beating him on the last couple of updates and don't want to step on anyone's toes.  Thank you Freud and Ray and please keep up the good work. I appreciate it.

If you wait until next Sunday, you will be two days late.

It's our Christmas present to the viewers.

Well, as Freud mentioned there's a bit of a Christmas present on the Treit and Davenport liner build site:
http://www.target550.com/gallery.htm.  It's a bit different than  the "regularly scheduled broadcasts" but I think it's one that's well worth checking out.  I'm sure you'll be very impressed.  I sure was when I saw the photos.

It should be the last update of the year, although there might be one just before New Year's eve.  Don't know yet.

A little birdie told me (boy!  I haven't used that phrase in years) that there will be some things shown in future installments that will be (to quote a long lyric from the 60s) guaranteed "to blow your mind."

Thanks to all who come to visit the site.  I'm very honored to be the web elf and a small part of this team.  I feel blessed beyond measure.

I think I can speak for all involved by wishing all a Merry Christmas and a very happy New Year.

Now everyone should begin to understand why I am so happy to have "the Rat" doing all the heavy lifting.

He lifted the words into place as I securely pounded my ear, waiting for Santa to arrive. The "elf" is the most important.

Thanks for the interest everyone has for this project. I am privileged to be in on the ground floor and be allowed to

look over Jim and Jason's shoulders as this evolves.

We will try to present interesting developments as the next year unfolds.

If Treit get's his water pipes thawed and repaired, we may have some printable words from him soon.

Merry Christmas to all of you.

A belated THANKS, Rex.

We appreciate your interest and comments.

I'll get busy and add more to each diary.

Yeah, so do I and it's still fun to design something the old fashon way.
