Jon Minonno / Texas Speedster
« on: July 21, 2009, 12:24:14 PM »
This month Salt Addiction features Jon Minonno. Besides being an accomplished drag racer and road racer, he was the first to go 250 on an open bike, and he did it on a Triumph! Read about the grudge match he and some high-rolling equestrians staged and the unexpected results.

Great story as usual. Jon is a real racer for sure. I was one of the first ones to him when he had the fire. He said it was hard decision to bail off or ride it out. The EMT's did a great job to get him cooled down and help with the burns and pain. Keep up the great writing and see you on the salt.

"Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing."   Helen Keller
