While it's really nice to see these high quality pictures on the site I hope some portion of the proceeds from the sale of prints is going to Landracing.com seeing as the site is being used to advertise this business venture.

Oh man, I hate math...

Let's see how this works:
Gas to and from El Mirage $30
Food, water & ice $30
Entrance onto lake bed $15
   sub total $75 x 2 months $150

Easy-up so I don't melt or damage my cameras $150
Professional Camera equipment $20,000
Computer and software for processing images and storage $5,000
Operational cost of two web sites $275
   sub total $25,425

Print sales:
June meet sales: 1 print;  profit $5.30
July meet sales: 0

Oh and last time I bought a SCTA T-shirt -$20

On my Gallery site which has 2,532,614 from 220 different countries
I have hot links to both scta-bni.org/ and landracing.com (no charge)

Back to the math:
-$150
-$25,425
-$20
total expense $25,595
profit + $5.30
net loss $25,589.70

A day spent on the lake bed with my son enjoying land speed racing: Priceless!

Watch what you offer. That one may be a classic and worth money.

I did lust for a Kodak 35 in 1952.

My first 35mm camera was a IIIF Red Dial Leica and I still have it. From not using it, the shutter stuck and several years ago I spent

$350 on a lube job and overhaul. Maybe I should see if it still works.
