A spud wrench in line work is to line up bolt holes when assymbling steel towers. Pointed on one emd and a wrench on the other to tighten the bolts

Something about a conflict with the Michael Jackson  service...   :-o

Actually Kent had an "Electrical issue" and did not want to take a chance..I told him in order to get him out of the points chase I was going to shock him with a stun gun if he brought it to the line... :-D

Looks like BuddaFab liner, Hondata and Dale in front of us for the points chase..

Going to be hard to beat the BuddaFab liner however.

Great to see the results up quick as usual! Great job gang! Nice seeing the pics there with labels & all!

Love the binary on the Hondata car! (I'm such a nerd )
And great seeing little Cathy on a big bike! Look out boys! hehehe

So is a no call like a no show as in they didn't show up to the line to run??

Deb,

Yes that is what a no call means, vehicle techs and enters however does not make it to the line, if the vehicle makes it to the line and takes off when it's their time and cannot make it to the end (timing lights) they get 25 points..none for a no call.

I got the results/story from Dan Warner overnight, and it's posted here on this site on the home page.  Best I couild do -- but it's there, and that's okay.

I don't remember for sure, but I think another name for what you're calling a spud wrench is a "bull pin".  Not that I'm an ironworker. . .

A visitor to the lake on Sunday was Don Wales (Grandson of Sir Malcolm Campbell - the first to 300 mph) who along with members of the 'Inspiration' British Steam Car project came to get into the record mood.  Don is preparing and will be testing the steam car just across the desert in readiness for the land speed record bid on Edwards AFB.

Hey Kent

It's better to come back and race another day for you and the bike. Good choice.

Good call Kent. That bike's showing lots of potential for championships in the future. You have to be around to be able to get them.
