I still want to know what record breaking Corvette and how fast it went.  We claim fastest stock bodied chevy.  Very interested in seeing the vette. :cheers:

Thanks for the replies, cannot make this weekend but I
will be there, eyes  and ears open .
I think we will shuttle the old truck and go with
public transportation (my GMC pickup)

Nothing keeps you from running the GMC in a Corvette.  A 302 fits nicely in D class.

A few years ago I tried to run a 256 GMC with a Howard head in E/FMR. No go. Had to run in XXO/FMR

 I was told. Don't know about Mod Sport as they have no X or XX classes.

Or you can bring the old PU to WoS and run it in the 130 club.... Minimum safety equipment and changes, link to USFRA on home page of this site.
