Mike,,, I Do NOT like the left side at all !!! I don't know but think a wind gust or the bump or both put me there,,, once there I was just holding wheel a bit right to keep it from driffting left any further, once I started to slow to about 120 I decided I was still to fast to make a big turn into short shutdown and went long.. I kept my speed up in long so my run only took up an extra 10 to 12 seconds to clear... I felt safer taking long and not attempting a major whoa down for short....

Charles- get a cool shirt. I had one last year at Bonneville. Life saver. Was at front of the line fully belted and suited up. Crash on long course shut us down. I was at least 30 min waiting. Did take helmet off but otherwise was totally comfortable staying in the car. Humidity is less there but just as hot sitting in the car.

CK, When you made the video run there was about a 4 knot wind running diagonally across the course from NW to SE ... The course is south to north. So you had a slight head wind from left to right. It couldn't have pushed you to the left side ... check the front end if you were pulled to the left.

Great run Charles but I don't know about telling people to jump ahead to halfway. They miss Marcy if they do that!

55,
Front end checked out ok... will put it on the rack and double check all again...
The car seemed to hug left after I hit the last patch, and I sure felt a gusty type crossing headwind.. may have just been a head wind, but when the car moved left and stayed there, It felt like the wind assisted the bump in moving me some,,,
If you sight down the center hood trim and reference the grass line in the expansion joints in the track you can see how it moved left near the finish and in short shut down,,,
Now I did start of to far left out of the dogleg at the start,, much more left than I have ever run,, could be multiple factors that had me to far left...
I will check the front,,, may have to add more air to left front tire too ...
Charles
