Was busy and missed the car over in tech, only got to see it going out on the trailer.  Thanks for taking and posting the pics Randy.

Nice build Jerry, looking forward to seeing it completed and making runs.

Randy,

Did you happen to get any pics of the new rear engine modified roadster under construction with the panels off?  If so I would enjoy seeing them posted.  Thought the aluminum work on that one was outstanding.

That 'liner is AMAZING.  I accused him of filling the welds with body filler to make 'em SO pretty - they were that nice.  Just like my welds - only excellent.

The other "fit and finish" star was the Vincent 500 single.  If it weren't a competitive motorcycle it could have been in a museum.  There was a pic posted earlier (it's a tan color).  It's owner was a guy named Dave - can't pull up his last name.  He road races the bike regularly and is a great guy.  Hope he comes back.

Jerry liner looks great.  How fast are you trying to go, and do you think your tires will grow any?

Wow!  Thanks everyone for the complements on my liner. This is my first landspeed build and it means a lot to me. I can't wait to get it finished so I can be a part of a very good group of guys and gals running at Maxton.    ( bvillercr )  My mph goal for Maxton will be around 230mph. The engine that is in the car now will not run those speeds but I hope to have a stronger engine combo for next year. As for tire growth, I am sure I will have some growth in the tires and will have to open the wheel openings in the belly pan. Again, thanks everyone and hope to be running in September.

Thanks everyone, I had a blast...well not till the end....electrical gremlins kept stealing my mph!  I was pretty pissed...on Sunday I figured I wouldn't go 2 since I went 194 with the clutch slipping a little.  My buddy convinced me to make one more pass so I went back to staging, sat calmly, focused but not too hard and ran.

Besides 1st gear sputtering, the clutch slipping from 3rd through 5th, hitting the rev limiter in 6th and shifting into 7th it wasn't too bad!
