Thought I'd throw this in here real quick because of some inquiries I've received.

If you have crew members/family/friends/etc that will be coming to the salt after you've been through Tech, you can leave their pins and car passes with me.  All you have to do is put your name, car/motorcycle number, and their name(s) on an envelope.  Put the passes in the envelope and drop it off with me at Land's End.  Make sure you let your people know to ask for me and I'll give them the envelope.  Please don't write their name on a sticker and hand it to me, I deal with a lot of passes and have limited space for everything.  I also need to know when they will be coming, just the day, not the hour   rolleyes  I don't mind doing this for you guys, but please remember it is very busy at Land's End and this is a courtesy I am extending to you.......bribery helps, but...well, you know  grin

Okay, there ya go!!  Are you done thrashing yet?  You're running out of time!!   No pressure, just saying....    evil

Stay Safe on your journey to the salt!!

Newbie question here, I listend an entire crew, two riders, and still needed more space. I got one pin. Is that just what it's supposed to be? One of my crew members has also changed, will we be able to sort it out at Lands end? Crew, and hauler will be arriving Friday AM, Riders and additional crew arriving Friday PM will there be a problem?

The badges to get admittance to the salt aren't tagged with names -- so the different crew member is not a problem.

You get four entry badges with the registration -- one in the tube and the others when you get the registration packet (I think I remember it works that way).  If you need more than four total -- unh, maybe someone else knows - must one buy the rest or can they be had for the asking?

As for folks arriving Friday -- back to Lynda's offer of holding stuff for others in your party/group.  See above, 7.08 last evening.

Okay, I believe I understand. Where and when do I get the registration packet? I got the tube, obviously, the registration is at the meet? I will have a package in the transporter for Lynda, I've never met her but from what I've seen she's the best of the best. What size T-Shirt does she prefer so I get the right size in the packet?

Folks, let not get confused, on Thursday and Friday you don't need entry badges on your hats, on Saturday morning on you do need the badges to get on to the salt, On Thursday and Friday you organize your pits, get your cars/bikes inspected, get race fuel, etc.  Dave

. . . and after you pass inspection and get officially entered, you get the packet with the other pit passes.

Large works nicely!!   grin  and Thank You!!

All your questions will be answered and the answers will become clear, once you get to the salt!  Sounds like a smartazz answer, but I swear it's true!  Trust me!  undecided

Thanks! I had a feeling there's going to be some kind of a "moment" or more when I get to the salt. It's something I have been fascinated with since I first read about Craig Breedlove when I was a kid and been itching at me for years, now I'M DOING IT!

Thanks Lynda,

My cousin is home on leave from duty with the U.S. Air Force in Iraq and Afghanistan, do current military members get free entry to the Salt?  He will be bringing his wife - first time I've seen him since he joined up.

Excellent point Shane, can't believe I overlooked it!!   shocked

Yes, ACTIVE military gets in free, they have to show their ID, but other than that, it's free, free, free.  Thanks for pointing out that very important omission....I'm so sorry!   cry
