Glad to hear I may be welcomed in. I'm from Santa Monica originally and most of my family still lives in San Diego.

Gotta represent the Milers.  :-D

I don't know exactly what would make one club better than the rest but the Milers is a pretty no frills, no b.s., let's-meet-once-a-year-to-discuss-business-and-eat-chili kind of club.  Been working well for the Stewarts since '67.

Gary,

You would be welcome in any of the Clubs. Joining one in your area would add to the enjoyment if there are regular Club meetings (and BEER).

There are thoughts of changing SDRC to SDBC .................. San Diego 'Busa Club.    No not really!

We have a very loose group of LSR types here in Detroit called the No-Namers. We get together 3 or four times a year at someones shop or garage for the three B's (burgers, beer & b!$@#$).

We are not lucky enough to have one of the founding member clubs of the SCTA. So my heart of hearts home San Diego will have to do.
