Can I run this bike

I want to run at maxton,never have done any land speed racing before.I am looking at buying a gsxr 1000 that a buddy of mine currently roadraces he does not have a title for the bike I dont think it has the plate with the vin numbers on it either.Can I run this bike if it doesn't have these things.Does the bike have to be a titled and registered motorcycle.

No, the bike doesn't need a title or registration.  A VIN will need to be entered in the logbook, so make sure the bike wasn't stolen before bringing it out.

Get yourself a rulebook and do all the little things it will need to pass tech, and come go fast.

sabat  my log book doesnt have a place for a vin --it has a place for the frame sticker number which is the number on the front of the log book  --if im wrong please tell me and i will change it   willie buchta
