You did a great job on the bike get off with the shutter speed u were using. It always happens that way. Slow the shutter down to give some feel

for the speed and something happens that you wish you had a  batch more shutter.

I don't think Alan spun, it appeared he hit the timing lights/sign on the left side of the course and was rewarded with a 25 point turn out and no time.

I hope the car is OK as that thing rocks and looks awesome.
