Harley KR Head
« on: June 14, 2009, 09:16:22 PM »
I am helping a friend run some analysis and draw a Harley KR head.  If any one has a good picture of the combustion chamber of a KR speedway head and would like to share it send me a PM or post it here.  I have some good pictures of the stock KR head, but I am told that the speedway heads were very different in the combustion chamber. I have a KR  racing manual somewhere, has a KRRR on the cover
extensive gearing info, I think breather info, and I think some head specs or mods. (might be description of relieving tops of cylinders)
I will try to dig it out and see if There is any info in there that will help you. I think there is no photos but a few technical drawings. I think it is from late 60s or 70, end of the KRs

Not sure what you mean by speedway, I am thinking you mean  flat track or TT..

I looked a while, have not yet found it.
Those drawings look a lot like some of what I think was in that booklet. It was magazine size and around 30 or 40 pages..

Thank you every one for the responses and panic for the drawing.  I haven't been able to get on the computer for a while because of a herniated disc in my back.  Kent I will be down in a couple of weeks. (hopefully if the back gets better)  Tony
