Sectioning cowl / steamlining .
« on: June 10, 2009, 11:32:37 AM »
I have read the rules on Comp Coupe and section 4.cc steamlining back and forth .

I mean this as NO offense to all that have tried to make this book clear ...
but ...
I've come to realize how we got Catholics and Baptist out of one book.

Is sectioning the cowl allowed for CC and considered steamlining?

On page 167 the two people that are on committies for coupes and sedans are listed. They are the one's at SCTA to contact for rules Bobby Sykes an Doug Robinson have phones and e-mail address's listed.

There is also a section on the SCTA web site for rules & regulations. That is where the official
word comes from.

Great line Jeff -Catholics and Baptists!

Got involved in a discussion re: your query today and I read streamlining as from the beginning of the cowl i.e. the base of the windshield  forward.

If the car was a '48 - for sure.

But, as suggested, better turn it over to the wisemen.
