Tom -- I can't open the site.  (Not your fault, this thing is electrical and I probably am not using it properly.)  But how did the roadster get from Winnemuca to auction at the Peterson?  (I know, I know -- by trailer.)

Stan;

Sorry you can't open the link? Maybe go: http://www.rmauctions.com and click on Icons of Speed Auction.
 I posted this on the lsr email list also. Dan Warner believed most of these came from the Winnemucca Museum,and that they were sold to the museum originally. Maybe the museum believes the So Cal area will bring better prices?
I'm sure Ed Roth's widow would love to have Eds 1973 Honda and the Bubble Top here in Utah where he passed away in Manti. Guess we got over 3 mos. to gather the scratch for some of these beauties!! LOL

I'm confused. I recently read somewhere that the Jim Khougaz roadster sold at auction. Price was around 350grand. :-o
Although this car was fast and well put together with "history", it doesn't compare to the popularity of the Saad Teague @ Bentley roadster. What will this car sell for?

Who knows?  It appears a lot older, but for some (a Lot!) of us there's
nothing that defines Roadster better than Sadd, Teague & Bentley.  I wouldn't want it.  Wouldn't know what to do with it.  Screw it up by making it legal?  Have it in the garage to go look at?  I guess I'm just not a collector.

But there's never been a cooler Roadster.  And never been a cooler guy than Al.  I've got my memories -- they're not for sale.  You can't have them, even if you own the Roadster.
