4X4 Funny
« on: June 07, 2009, 03:11:12 PM »
If you happen to have a copy of Petersen's History Of Drag Racing from 1981 you might recognise this hot rod.  Or possible you were lucky enough to see it at the strip or a local car show.  It's Gary Weckesser's Mach 4 AWD Mustang 'Funny Car' from the later '60's.

Hot Rod also had an article about it.

I remember those.
I also remember an Allison V12 powered Mustang F/C named "Iron Horse", or something like that doing a fire burnout for a magazine pictorial.
Anyone recall that?
