LSR Front Fender
« on: June 02, 2009, 04:32:13 PM »
At only 175 MPH my CF front fender flexed up at the tip and the sides rubbed my tire from force of air pressure. Obviously I needed some sort of LSR fender. Dutch @ Airtech had nothing that would fit, so I "expanded" Tiger's LSR fender. Still needs a bit more primer fill, but you get the idea. I realize the "wing" is meant to fit inside Busa fairing, but it seems to split the air nicely for my radiator and adds a needed bit of down force. Looking forward to high speed testing back at Maxton.  8-)

Wow!  I am jealous!  I could only dream of a blown R3!!!

How fast have you had it at Maxton?  Have you dragged it?

Looks good, what color are you gonna paint it?

I've only run to 175 at Maxton for my B license. Looking for an A license with current mods. Haven't dragged this supercharged version... maybe this Summer.

Thanks, Randy! It'll be black with blue flames, of course.  8-)

Ken, we pit where ever we find the space to park the trailer! Back in April we were on the return road not far from entrance intersection. We probably won't be at Maxton for the June 27th meet, as we're planning to make the trip to Loring in Maine in July (Maine Summer weather suits better). We should be back at Maxton in the Fall.

Looking forward to meeting you whenever,
Walt
