  I've been to the U.S. Nationals many times as well as dozens of other NHRA national events and NONE  of them held a candle to the 50th anniversary MARCH MEET!!!!!!!  It will always stand out as one of my favorite auto events. It did sadden me that a really awesome racer , John Shoemaker lost his life there.
