Toot my own horn.
« on: May 19, 2009, 01:07:11 PM »
I have a buddy at work that has come to the salt for the last couple of years and has the fever. He writes a little for a gearhead website and decided to write an article on our roadster. This is pretty self serving but it is an article on a salt flats car and I thought some may like to see it. Thanks

Records or parts, I didn't come all this way not to break something.

Very well spoken and written.  If a reader doesn't "get it" after seeing this they are incapable of understanding our addiction.

     Very interesting, thanks for sharing.

Great write up!  That's a link that I'm sending to a bunch of people that don't get it (so far).

Great!  Glad you guys like the story.  I mean, the Volk family and the car speak for itself.  I love Dallas' commentary and sense of humor.  "Brick like" aero package!  Classic.  :)

I agree, Salt Fever is for real!  I can't miss an event now.

Please feel free to join us over at MyRideisMe.com and bring the Salt with ya!

Great link Dallas, I couldn't stop grinning after reading your formula

[High HP + Short wheelbase + brick like aero package = Big pucker Factor to the Tenth power]

That pretty much nails it  :-D

Hope to see you guys this year [officially also if you know what I mean]
