They messed up and it cost a record and points, I do not feel they should lose the record if entered in the right class however the rules are the rules like them (the rules) or not.

It is done and over with now.

Next...?

On 9-27-08 we lost a great friend and fellow racer, he was the BEST, he helped anyone with anything at anytime.  His name is Dave Owen and he will be missed by all that knew him and I am glad to have met him.

Seeing him at Bonneville during 2008 Speedweek was the tops, Dave was in awe of the salt and as usual was there helping out anyone who asked..simply put we lost a great man who will be missed by all.

Just to confirm the rules and regs.

John Noonan are you saying that if a person enters in one class and then runs a vehicle that is actually another class the racer looses the record and the points for that particular meet?

thanks.

i can only speak for myself ---- the tech for motorcycles is differant for gas than it is for fuel--if i went through tech in gas and then ran fuel not only would i expect to loose my record and the points for the meet but i would expect to get kicked out of my club for cheating ---willie buchta
