Breather Masks
« on: May 15, 2009, 01:20:17 AM »
This is a stupid question, but I'll ask it anyway...  I'm pretty sure I already know the answer, but...

Are open face helmets and breather masks legal in LSR?

Brenden Murry still wears one in his Nitro FED, and everyone knows how BBC's love Nitro!

As far as I know, open face helmets are not legal even with a breather mask.

Calkins:

The rule book very clearly states "All drivers/riders must wear a full-face helmet with face shield. No open face helmets will be allowed." What can be clearer. The Impact helmet is full face and is Snell approved. The Bell is open face. Figure it out!
