open the web site, go to the left column and click on El Mirage. It opens a window, at the top click on the tab directions. It has all of the info you need. If you don't have a room there are several in Victorville. We stay at the super 8, right off the I-15 and Bear Valley road. It's about 25 miles from the lake bed. You can camp on the lake bed as well.
Enjoy the lakes.

Go to Mapquest for driving directions and just type in Coalinga, CA to El Mirage, CA. It will give you directions. Where it says El Mirage (On Mapquest) is just go straight untill you see the entrance road on your left. It looks like Interstate 5 South to 138 East would be the easiest if you live in Coalinga.

Hope this helps.

The sign at the entrance road.
It may look somewhat different today.

Well, it used to be Los Angeles . . . 50 miles north of Fresno now.
Just remember . . . It isn't life or death.
It's bigger than life or death! It's RACING.

I always went down 5 to 138 and across over 14 to Serria highway. Turned right and went down to ave D I think, first left turn across the railroaqd tracks and then went out to ave 110 and turned right to Ave j. Miss all the lights and cars in Lancaster. No gas stations or stors that way either so I gas up in Gorman just before turning off 5

Speaking of EM -- I got a series of photos today - from Ron Main.  I guess they had a sign-raising party last weekend.  Here's what to look for now:
