I love the USA. How much longer will we be a free nation?

Asking questions is one's only way of getting answers.

The rational person lets verified facts form or modify his opinion.  The ideologue ignores verified facts which don't fit his preconceived opinions.

Justin, I give up on trying to send stuff to you.  Two more that had your address (one from me, one from Tom G.) just came zooming back to me.  I'd call you -- but Tom suggested I put the photos up for public admiration.  Here's one or more.  The odo shows 682,100 miles.  If I could -- I'd send you the details on the truck, but the machine sure doesn't like something about you or your address.

I got both about 4PM -- and when I tried replying -- the email came zooming back to me.  WTF?  I guess I'll try calling, although the photos are on this topic.

Another -- the mochine isn't letting me post more than one at a time, even though they're about 150k.

Maybe you should check with the website owner to see if she has your web activity limited  :-D

I'd check with the owner, but when I call him -- all I get is his answering machine stating that he's busy with Nancy.  Hmmm, must be nice.

On another note -- here it is, Monday morning, and Nancy just left for work -- and immediately called to say our mailbox has been vandalized.  It's all beat up -- perhaps by a passing baseball bat, maybe by a pickup with doors mounted pretty high.  So what to do -- call the Post Office and complain, call the Sheriff and complain, or just get another and hope they leave me alone next time.

Back to the answering machine. . .

Justin, just saw this thread. You might look for equipment auctions in your area. I don't know about your area but stuff is going dirt cheap out here. Usually the stuff selling is not from clearing out old stock but from liquidation so the it's in pretty good shape and late model. Just a thought.. Good luck.

when I was about eleven my dad was giving one of my sister's a driving lesson while we were staying at a cousin's farm, we went to collect the mail, she drove a little close to the letter box , got into a wheel rut right next to it and hit the letterbox.......it peeled a two foot long cut into the front guard of the old man's car that was only a year old. Turns out our cousins were sick of people shooting their letterbox and remade it out of 3/8inch scrap plate..........

Make an exact copy of your letterbox out of something nice and heavy , and rest comfortable in the knowledge that the next goon who tries to smash it with a bat has wrenched knuckles.
Few understand what I'm trying to do but they vastly outnumber those who understand why...................

SSS, we used to have the battered mailbox syndrom. I build one out of 3/16" steel plate, they tryed to bash it when it was new, all they did was mar the paint a little.

Hmmm -- Australia uses 3/8, Missouri uses 3/16.  The difference must be the metric system conversion, right?

So -- the lady at the post office suggested I call the police, so now I'm waiting for Dudley Doright to arrive.  Shall I take and post a photo?  Back to a toter for Justin, now. . .
