Gifford, why didn't you just buy the Stude #787?

Gary,

While you offer a fine car at a darn good price, I still have a vision of building my own.  Maybe a Stude, maybe not, that's what I'm still researching.

Charles.

Hello.

If you do not mind me asking, what size/diameter front tires are you using on your Studebaker?

Charles, I was just wondering, are you going to Speedweek?   John, I don't know what size tire Charles is using but I used 25" front tires.

Charles, I just got my issue of Hot Rod in the mail.  A nice shot of your car is in the magazine.  Do not buy up all the copies in the town where you live.  Go a few miles away and buy them there.  That way the local guys will find it.  Congratulations, it is a good looking car.

GH , I will not make speedweek with the Studebaker... I blew the E motor at Maxton in April, still working on it,, using a C motor now (temporary)  Have Maxton again in 2 weeks, then 2 weeks later Loring Maine,,, do not have the time, crew or money for Speed Week,,, working on September for World of Speed... or a sponsor for Speed Week 2012..

The Stude is so fun to Drive,, Can't wait to see what it does on the salt...

ONE YEAR LATER,

Oh wow it has been a full year since my Studebaker was finished. The good news is the Stude has set 6 class records at Loring,, 2 in 2010 and 4 so far in 2012... it has also set 4 records in Maxton during 2010/2011.   The bad news is the E motor hurt itself in April of this year, so I have been running a backup low HP C motor,,  however the lil "C" has went 177mph at Maxton and 188 at Loring,,, the E blowing up has ruint my plans for WOS this year at Bonneville.

I will be at Bonneville in 2012 with a NEW and "Improved" E motor...

Here is a Pic from Maxton and a Video from Loring,,

Does anyone know if Charles is OK? He has not logged in since April 27, 2013, 11:02:51 AM. His website has not been updated lately also.
