Tsalt,  I like it... thanks....  I know everyone thinks I am crazy powering a heavy full bodied car with a little 255 cu in  N/A motor on gas,,,, but it sure is fun.....

and she runs respectable for her small cu. in.

The    Lil b"E"ast ... I like it... cheers

Loading up today to depart in the morning for Maxton's last event of the 2010 season.

Took a few short videos to see if the Go Pro Hero was still working after I dropped it.

DOUBLE CLICK the Picture to Launch Video

Walking from Hot Rod Shop to Race Shop

Panning around the Shop (pardon the mess)

View from inside the Studebaker (new camera mount)

See you all this weekend at Maxton,

TSalt, I am not a dancer,,, just testing the camera's view.  Looks like it is still working..

All through tech and ready for the 8:30am  drivers meeting,,, temps are cooler than we thought.. Hope we can make some power.

I decided to run up in motor class... So in the morning I am running D/CGALT... then if all goes well may try C/CGALT  in the afternoon is no wind.  The E motor may not be able to get a C record if there is much head wind.

CHARLES, take a lesson from Stan Back.

He likes to set records into a head wind.

You are capable, if'n he is.

HAMMER DOWN. You have all winter to rebuild.

Tell Todd my cell is still working.

Charles,

I just reviewed your build thread, for the Huh? time (I can't remember how many times I've looked at it).  What I was looking for were pictures of the chassis build, I thought you had posted some, but I suppose it could have been someone else' thread.  I also scanned your Photobucket page.  Do you have any to share?  I also have some other questions, but I'll contact you offline with them in a few days.

Giff,

The Chassis build pics should be both on my build diary here and photobucket.  You just have to go back a bit further.

Talk soon,

Giff,  go back to page 5 of this build thread and you can see the chassis build for 10 pages or more.

Charles,

I saw all of those pictures.  It must have been somebody else' build thread, as I remember seeing the process from receiving a bare set of rails, building a temporary chassis jig, and the welding of the complete chassis.

Giff,  I did not buy chassis rails.  Had FatMan make front stub and we built the entire chassis in house from scratch.

my photobucket may have a few more pictures, you may be thinking of John from Marylands Stude build ??  He had some good pictures as well.

Giff.

Hello.

If you are building a Studebaker and have build questions, feel free to ask.  Like Charles, my car has gone through a few lesson-learned hoops.
