It's amazing how fast "our kids" can heal. Just don't judge YOUR recover time, from a similar procedure, to hers.

She is only 15 and had  her first hip surgery this May, recovery time was to be 10 weeks,, she was well and full weight bearing in 6 weeks.  This surgery is supposed to have a 4 week recovery, My bet is 2 weeks she will be 100%.

She had a good day today. only mild pain and some swelling,,, worst part is the 14 days she has to get a shot in her stomach. Medice to prevent/reduce chance of post surgical blood clots.

All in all a great Thanksgiving,,, awesome Ham and Turkey, I made home made sage dressing, 12 family for dinner and just clearing the House now,, Have a cup of hot java and relaxing now/

Charles ... tough for a teenager at Christmas time ... you are right though kids are durable and heal faster ... our thoughts are with you and your daughter ... Bring with you to the April meet and help get some youngsters involved ... she could be in the 2 club someday ... Joe

Charles, We LSR types all wish her a speedy recovery. Most of us with kids know how difficult it is for them and us. Give her na big hug from the west coast LSR clubs. She will be on her feet soon and able to join in. Sounds like she has a strong mind and the energy needed.

That is about correct.  Team Colors are  Satin Black, White and Red....

The Vicky is All Satin Black with White Lettering with Red Trim,
(Red and White team logo and Red and White Pinstriping)

Now for the Stude, we will stay with those same 3 colors, but who knows how we will design it ...??

Black would get mighty hot out on the salt.

I will wear a White Helmet ... :-D

Yep Black will be hot... working on some space age thermal barrier for a headliner.

Also  Cool Suit... also ducted  A/C from pit vehicle...

In June it was 107 degrees with at least what felt like  1000% Humidity in my Vicky at Maxton,,,  I was suited up and staged then shut down twice, once for a bike tossing some parts on the track, then another time for a last minute air pressure check of my left front tire,,, man it was hot,,, no cool suit, no A/C,,, just my big arse in a Black Car....yeah  my head sock was ruined lol (I 'll get another one)

The Vicky has no overhead insulation at all,,, this had me thinking of fire proof options for thermal protection (insulation) and designing a ducted air conditioner in the pit vehicle to cool the drivers compartment  while in the staging line,,

I am about done with the design,, have till June to Build and test it...

Sometimes facing Reality just plain hurts.......

You're gonna do what you're gonna do anyhow.

I learned a long time ago that you just don't ask your wife certain questions. The answer is always NO.

Is that all you ever think of?

Same goes with paint.
