Crow, Thanks,,

I am working on Chute pack mounting brackets and anchor line attachment points.  Once Chute arrives from Stroud, Larry can weld the anchor line attachment stuff and we can mount the chute. Trying to finish layout for Rear Spill Plates and Spoiler and fab it up before Thanksgiving.

Less work in front of us than behind us,,, but have a lot of detail and finish work to do.

Itching is an understatement.  Today marks exactly 8 months to the day that we turned the first wrench, we began to disassemble the car on March, 20th 2009,,, Seems like longer than 8 months, (the Vicky was done turn key in less than 8 months from my first drawing to test drive.)   So this 8 months seems long,, hope to finish by Feb. 1st.

Oh well back to the shop,,

Charles, how'd you get your brand-new shop looking so well used and lived-in in such a short time?

Jon,

My two personal shops (behind my house) are not used for the "BIG" stuff (heavy welding, fab or paint and body).  FYI, the new shop I did the build Diary on last year is now a year old.. and yes it does look a bit broke in now... but try not to do major or "big" work in there.

The big work is done 5 miles away at Rod Crafters in Welcome, NC. (next door to RCR)

Way to go Kid! Looks great that's motivation right there, now for all the details and finishing touches. Are you going to run a side skirt from the front fender back? Seen a few cars at SW that had done this, are you at ride height?

Basher,

On the side skirt issue. I had not planned on them (as I will be running Classic Gas Altered) and did not think we can use them. ??

Ride height? we do not have the coil overs installed yet.  From the current setup height we can raise or lower the ride height. Starting ride height will be 1.5 inch's lower than in the pictures.

Charles, the car is looking really good.
I can't wait to see it in person at Maxton, and better yet see it perform, she looks like she is gonna fly.

Mike,  thanks for the kind words and vote of confidence... Hope she preforms just short of flying.

We are going to start out with my radical lil "E" motor for 2010 and then use a more serious "C" motor after that.
