Hey Carl, we missed you at the Mile in March, but it would be great if your schedule allows yo to make this great inaugural event!!!
Seems like you don't mind driving a "few" miles to race!

Dean is coming to Loring so we'd have a lil turbo 1000 competition if you make it

I am planning on attending with my 1993 Corrado, Did Bonneville in 2007. Look forward to something closer and actually having some horsepower this time around.

Mike,
What kinda car have you got.  I'm starting to think that you and I might be the only four wheelers there amongst a field of 10,000 bikes.  Lol  DickJ

DJ,
Check out page one of this topic. There's like over ten cars committed to coming , plus BobbyHotRods '29 T-Bucket, Mark S ' IMPAC Turbo Porsche, and a lot of guys that are sitting on the fence that I've talked to are leaning towards coming.
More than likely a majority of Bikes, but nowadays in LSR that's normal .
Judging by the upward trend  in hits on these forums, there's a LOT of lurkers.

Bob, I was just kidding.  Hey, I have read every post on this forum!

I can sure understand the huge number of bikes though.  I used to race them myself until I got too old.  Still think about it now and then but my wife and my doc both look at me real squinty-eyed whenever I mention it, so I figure I'll just stick with the car from here on out. In fact, the doc just shakes his head when we talk about it.  He says guys on medicare should be content with reading about racing.

I hope some of those lurkers and fence-sitters show up.  The only differrence between dreamers and doers is that the doers just get out there and live their dreams.

All I got left to do is bleed the brakes and change out my ignition box and the car is ready to head your way!

As Mike said we will be attending in July, everything is looking good, we're going todo some messing with gear changes, the 190.5 in the mile was a little lower than we anticipated, but the tune was spot on, so hopefully I can move the gearing in relationship to the power band around and pick up some mph.  We need to be at 195 in the mile to do what we need to do in 1.5  So to update the list that is greenjunk and mikematy, 1971 "TimeBomb" Camaro.  N.Carolina.
