I'm wondering and hoping if someone might have any information about the Eddie Miller Jr. Pontiac Lakester. [Pics, whereabouts etc.] I have been searching high and low with no luck. The only thing I have is a cutaway drawing from an early Hotrod mag and reports in the Rodders Journal that it was being restored and rumors that it's in the McPherson collection. The engineering and ideas on this car are in the same mould as the Novi FWD Indycar before it dissapeared without realising it's full potential. Pure Americana. Any info would be much appreciated.

Contact Jim Miller at jmiller@ahrf.com he will give you info in the car. It has had many owners over the years. The Ferguson family I believe have in their collection now.

Stuz,

If you live in Southern California you can see the car in person on March 14th. at the Rod Riders club annual party held in the Ferguson family shop.

Wow! A 7 cylinder flaty.   I love flat head engines...  He2xL ...  I can't even get a an engine for my lawn mower that doesn't have an OHV setup. I don't want to throw this thread off so I'll ask on another topic if we can learn some of the Rich fox story.

Have seen this remarkable car twice.

First time at the National Guard Armory show at Exposition Park (LA) in  the late '40s.

Second time @ the Rod Riders get together @ Ferguson's two years ago.

Impressive  vehicle for its' time.

Is that solid steel rods above the motor that they drilled to save weight.  Just wondering.  Thats what it looks like.

Many many thanks to Glen @ DW for the info you passed onto me.                                                                                              I searched the AHRF many times before but I never saw what was under my nose. I'M A BONEHEAD. Just spent 2hrs looking at 5 photos and another 1/2 at the motor. Thanks RichFox. Waiting on some info from Jim now. Anyways, I'm going back to look at the pics again.
