Hooleys other racing adventure
« on: March 03, 2009, 06:36:53 AM »
Hooley (driver/owner of the #974 "Just Glad to be Here" Studebaker) does a lot of drag racing too.  Last winter I helped him build a Henry J gasser and it did great last summer.  This fall and winter Hooley replaced last years motor with something a little bigger.  Last Saturday it made its first past at the "Texas Thaw".  Here is what the first pass looked like.  I think this is going to be a fun year of racing.

Musta had paint leftover...
Nice car... from the picture you can almost tell there is a loose nut... no not on the underside... behind the wheel.  Time to invest in wheelie bars so you don't scratch up the backside.
Hooley, do you just want to go 200 in this one too?
Good luck, have fun...

Hey, everybody likes a little air under the front wheels of a Henry J!
Hooks hard, goes straight - right Hooley?
